“My love for yoga? As in every love story it started with a crush. A crush on the physical practice to be honest.
I tried different kind of sports to release stress and feel good in my body e.g. crossfit, running, hiit, but often felt even more exhausted afterwards. Today I know I wasn’t working with my body but against my body.
This changed six years ago when I started to practice yoga. I experienced that yoga is not only a work-out but also a work-in. The more I stepped on my yoga mat the more I recognised the mental benefits of the physical yoga practice. The crush happened within a yoga class where i felt home in my body for the first time, the very moment I reconnected to my inner self.
I was overwhelmed how yoga brought balance into my life and even more curious about the benefits of yoga, humans anatomy and the tradition behind yoga. My interest in yoga became passion, now I teach yoga with all of my heart.
For me being a yoga teacher isn’t about taking center stage and showing off skills. It’s about opening a space, giving advice, offering a hand and supporting as best as I can. My classes are quite creative as I love to integrate parts of free movement and sequences that feels like a dance. Head off, heart on and let’s flow!"
