We created this apprenticeship to support striving yoga teachers from diverse backgrounds with the essential tools to refine their teaching skills and cultivate a profound self-practice to ignite their full potential. Whether you come from a Vinyasa Yoga tradition or another, our apprenticeship program welcomes yoga teachers with foundational training (200hrs+) who seek to continue their journey of self-inquiry and education.

The Yoga on the Move 300h+ apprenticeship offers over 300 hours of additional training and continuing education. This includes a structured curriculum of hands-on teaching experiences, closely supervised by mentors, combined with regular Yoga Asana and meditation practice, as well as guided self-study. The program aims to not only enhance your teaching abilities but also foster personal growth as a dedicated practitioner of Yoga, guiding you in independent studies of the Yoga teachings.

Time Frame:

The apprenticeship spans over 6 months, with regular group lessons at the Shala to exchange with other apprentice and dive even deeper into selected topics.

Group lessons take place every Friday from 3-4.30pm, February 16th to May 10th 2024.

Special workshops will happen on Saturdays from 2-6pm once a month, March 16th, April 6th, May 11th 2024.

The remaining 270+ hours will be individually negotiated at the beginning of your mentoring program based on your personal needs, study goals and the mentor's availability.

Investment:

A commitment of 300+ hours, a 500 Euro registration fee, and six monthly installments of 375 Euros will provide you with a 300+ hour certification, totaling 2750€. Additional months beyond the initial 6 may incur extra costs.

The investment includes a 6-month membership at Yoga on the Move.

What to Expect:

The apprenticeship intensifies your yoga practice, deepens your philosophical understanding, and refines your teaching skills under the guidance of mentors from the Yoga on the Move Berlin faculty. You'll become an active part of the community, gaining access to all classes at Yoga on the Move.

Customization Options for Your 300h:

Choose from various options, including alignment and adjustment, voice training, mantra, hands-on assists, meditation, Sanskrit study, and more.

Requirements:

Applicants must have completed a basic Yoga Teacher Training (minimum of 200 hrs) in any tradition before starting the mentoring program. A consistent yoga practice of 2-5 times a week for at least two years is also required.

Fill out the application sheet and, if not a current student, provide a recommendation letter from a yoga teacher confirming your dedicated practice.

Certification:

Completing the YotM Apprenticeship Program, teaching two test classes, and meeting all curriculum requirements will earn you a certificate from Yoga on the Move Berlin. This signifies 300+ hours of additional continuing education, accredited with 300h YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program).
