New Moon Gong Bath with Rhyannon Styles

This new moon marks the beginning of a new cycle – an opportunity to free ourselves from emotional burdens and tap into the wisdom of our subconscious mind. 

The new moon in November occurs in the sign of the Scorpion, an intense, passionate and perceptive sign – which can serve you on your journey of self-reflection.

It presents an opportune time to commit to personal goals and take steps towards self-mastery and self-empowerment by reflection things that undermine us and that take away our power.

 

To honor the intense energy of the new moon in Scorpio, we have a special guest at the Shala. 

Rhyannon Styles is visiting us with her magical Gong, to play exclusively for you a soothing Gong Bath and a guide you deep into meditation to open your heart and set meaningful intentions for yourself.

The sound of a gong supports our brain to reach deep relaxation – specifically the delta and theta brain wave states, which are the slowest brain waves in humans. It can be incredibly powerful to use the energy of the new moon to go into deep states of relaxation with sound baths. It gives a great opportunities to reconnect with our bodies, replenish our energies and reset our natural rhythms.

After the sound bath you will feel restored and re-centred for the next lunar cycle.

In ancient science and indigenous traditions the New Moon is known as a change of light and energies. Recognizing our soul and our energy in new Moon is recognizing our strength within the darkness.

As a new cycle, as a new season, new moons are constant beginnings where we have cosmic support to seed the dreams and the fruits that are going to be harvested along our personal path and that of others. A ceremony, as a memorable celebration, is for us a way to connect to our nature and to the universal spirit of everything that is alive.

Rhyannon was drawn to gong baths in 2012 as a desire to expand her meditation practice. She instantly connected and deeply resonated with the transformative energy gong baths produced and from her first gong session she was hooked. With a background in performing arts, music and writing, she has been facilitating gong baths, both in person and online since 2019. She intends to share the experience with as many people as possible. Her focus is inclusivity and intuition to support and nurture individual growth.
