In January 2022 we will start our 8-week journey through the fundamental principles of Vinyasa yoga, Asana (body postures) and Pranayama (breath regulation).
This Yoga Immersion is for those newly embarking on a yoga journey, or interested in rebuilding the foundations of their practice to suit their individual needs. So whether you are still new to the practice or you would like to immerse yourself in your path, this course is just for you. Marlene & Leonie will guide you through the eight weeks helping you to start your year mindfully and connected, with your body and your mind.
Each week, we will focus on specific Asana and Pranayama practices to create a stable foundation for your yoga path. We will give detailed alignment cues, assists and background information to create a safe space to mindfully experience body, mind and soul. Getting to know your individual physical constitution, you will learn how to use yogic techniques in a complementing and supportive way.

WEEK 3 - CONFIDENCE - Exploring standing Asanas & Warrior Poses
WEEK 4 - PATIENCE - Observing the ego mind & Forward Folds
WEEK 5 - DEDICATION - Embodying Vinyasa & understanding Sun Salutation
WEEK 6 - NON-ATTACHMENT - Releasing deeply with hip openers
WEEK 7 - COMPASSION - Forming a healthy spine with twists & backbends
WEEK 8 - UNION - Integrating Yoga in your own path
You will start each class with a short meditation to centre yourself and arrive in the space. This will be followed by an in-depth exploration of the 'anatomy of breath'. With each class, you will practice different breathing (pranayama) techniques and their physical and emotional benefits. You will then explore and deconstruct key yoga poses (asana) and learn how to practice them in a functional way suitable for your body. The practice will end with a beautiful savasana and deep relaxation to integrate & process what we learned into the subconscious.
This course is suitable for all levels and meant to help you rise from wherever you are at right now.
All classes will be streamed live every Monday at 18.30pm. We encourage you to participate live to take the most out of this course, in case you can't make the time, we will provide you with a recording to rewatch and practice whenever you like.
In addition to this online course you have the option to book a in-studio private class with Leonie or Marlene in our beautiful Studio in Berlin-Schöneberg to reflect, ask question & deepen your practice.
On Monday, January 17th, we will start our yoga journey into an enriched 2022.
Together we will bring more balance into our lives - turning 2022 into a positive, fulfilling year.
With the focus on deepening the awareness of your own body and mind through the practice of Yoga, we keep our consciousness in the present moment bringing ease into the more subtle layers of our body as well as our life. We will build up this course over the 8 weeks so you can establish a deeper practice and continuous connection over time.
ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Leonie traveled to India for the first time at 19 to deepen her yoga practice. Since then, she has been able to practice yoga with a wide variety of teachers around the world & completed multiple teacher trainings around the world. In 2017 she founded Yoga on the Move together with Marlene.
Marlene is a 800hrs+ certified YT, co-founder of Yoga on the Move and Nike trainer. Marlene is fascinated by the healing power of yoga on a physical, mental and emotional level. Through her classes she wants to inspire to let go of the everyday worries and invite to dive into deeper layers of consciousness. She teaches Vinyasa, meditation and yin yoga.
