"The way out is in." - Thích Nhất Hạnh

We all have moments when we feel like we are lacking something. Maybe we’re searching for a sense of security, or the courage to take a big leap. Whatever it is, it’s easy to think that our success is dependent on something outside of ourselves. Yet the truth is, everything we need is already within us. We already carry the power to create our own security, the strength to take risks, and the courage to face our fears. We just need to learn how to access these qualities. The best way to start is by looking inward. This retreat will offer you a guided path to look deeply and to carry the light from within out into the world.

Yoga is a practice of self-inquiry, being able to distinguish between truth and illusion. We will practice yoga asana (yoga postures), meditation, mindfulness, yoga philosophy and chanting - to study the self. By knowing who we are, we can move with strength and compassion and let go of maya (illusion) - everything that we are not. From here we are able to live from a place of joy, ease and kindness.

The 8 limbs of yoga are a system of ethical, physical, mental, and spiritual practices that build the foundation of yoga. They include yama (ethical restraints), niyama (self-discipline), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (liberation). Together, they form a holistic approach to yoga and provide a framework for self-discovery, growth, and transformation. Through the practice of the 8 limbs, we can return to our nature - which is harmony and peace.

About the team

The retreat is led and guided by Dania & Mina from Yoga on the Move. The two will guide you step by step into the practices independently of your level of experience.

Dania has been fascinated with the wisdom and practices of yoga to dive into the mind-body-connection and reach deep layers of experience with curiosity, acceptance and compassion. As a psychotherapist, yogatherapist and mom, she embraces the teachings of yoga and mindfulness on and off the mat. For her doctoral thesis, she has been researching the potential of yoga in the treatment of anxiety disorders and has written a book about the topic.

Mina is a yoga teacher, C-IAYT therapist, dancer, and counselor who believes in creating spaces that feel like a deep exhale—welcoming, joyful, and free. Blending yoga and dance, she helps others connect to their bodies with compassion and confidence. Her classes are all about inclusivity, where no one is too much or not enough. With warmth and wisdom, she invites you to embrace yourself fully and move through life with more ease and self-acceptance.

Dania & Mina are looking forward to welcome you!
