Freddi and Marlene from Yoga on the Move are taking you on a weekend retreat to a beautiful farm in Brandenburg.
Treat yourself with three days in nature to decelerate and reconnect.
The program created around the theme “Finding Balance" is rooted in the ancient wisdom of Yoga & Ayurveda, two ancient traditions from India that work hand in hand to guide you closer to your truest self, deeply balanced within.
Expect daily morning Yang practice (Vinyasa, Elemental Yoga, Ayurveda inspired Flows) and evening Yin practice (Yin, Yoga Nidra, Slow Flows) including Pranayama and Meditations.
Throughout the retreat we will explore the qualities of the five Ayurvedic elements (earth, water, fire, wind, ether) through different Yoga techniques and meditation practices. It’s believed that living in balance with all five elements promotes a healthier lifestyle with which we can immerse ourselves into happier beings. In an in depth workshop we will give you a fundamental understanding of the ancient healing science of Ayurveda, and how you can adapt your life to Ayurvedic principles in order to invite more balance and health into Body, Mind and Soul. With the knowledge of our individual constitution and Dosha dominances, we will support you to attune our yoga practice and thus can transform our weakness into strength and invite more balance into our lives.

Enjoy organic vegetarian/ vegan food, walks in the forest, bonfire sessions and dreamy chats under the stars – at Ponderosa, a farm turned dance and movement center, sprawled out over five hectares of lush forests and meadows in Eastern Brandenburg.

About the team:
Freddi is a certified Yoga Teacher and naturopath. She is teaching in several studios in Berlin. It is her passion to share her knowledge from alternative medicine and combine it with the teachings of yoga in a holistic approach to share it with others.
Marlene is a 800hrs+ certified YT, co-founder of Yoga on the Move and Nike trainer. Marlene is fascinated by the healing power of yoga on a physical, mental and emotional level. Through her classes she wants to inspire to let go of the everyday worries and invite to dive into deeper layers of consciousness. She teaches Vinyasa, meditation and yin yoga.
About the location:
Ponderosa is an art centre, a community, and a place to gather and exchange. It is located in the German countryside, in the village of Stolzenhagen, around an hour on the train from Berlin, close to Poland.
About the transport:
We are planning to take the train collectively. Luckily it is very easy to get to Ponderosa by public transportation. Every 30 min a train leaves from Berlin central station to Angermünde. We will send you all travel details by the end of June and organize everything so no one has to travel alone.
